Esut 2012/2013 Post Utme Date: Registration Procedures And Requirements

The Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) has fixed her 2012/2013 post-utme examinations to hold from the 21st to the 23rd of June, 2012.
ELIGIBILITY FOR THE ESUT POST-UTME
• Candidates for the ESUT post-utme exercise must have selected ESUT as their first and/or second choice in the 2012 JAMB (UTME)
• Candidates must have
obtained a minimum of 180 marks in the above examination.
• Candidates are invited for the post-utme exercise at the ESUT permanent campus, Agbani.
SCHEDULE OF THE ESUT POST-UTME
DAY ONE (21/6/2012 ): Faculty of Engineering (9.00am) and Applied Natural Sciences (12.00pm)
DAY TWO (22/6/2012):
Management Sciences (9.00am) and Education& Environmental Sciences (12.00pm).
DAY THREE (23/6/2012): Law & Agriculture (9.00am) and Medicine & Social Sciences (12.00)pm.
ONLINE REGISTRATION
PROCEDURE FOR THE ESUT POST-UTME:

• Candidates are to obtain
scratch cards from any of the designated banks in Enugu on payment of N1800.
• Candidates who have met with the requirements above are required to access the
University portal here
• Candidates should complete the online screening forms and other information

REGISTRATION DATES AND DEADLINE
• The online registration started on Monday June 4, 2012 and ends on Monday June 18, 2012.
All candidates will be examined on English Language and Mathematics only.
ESUT POST-UTME REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must present
photocopies of the under-listed screening documents to be admitted into the screening hall:
(a) POST-UTME Screening Forms
(b) Original JAMB Result Slip.
Completed screening forms must be returned online with the scanned copies of each of the following documents:
(a) UTME Result Slip
(b) Entry Qualification Certificate(s)
(c) Current Passport-size
Photograph.
Candidate must certify that the information given be him/her in each of the sections of the screening form is to the best of his/her knowledge accurate.
Should any be found to be
false , he/she shall consider self disqualified.
FOR NON UTME APPLICANTS
Candidates who did not make ESUT their first or second choice but now wish to choose ESUT as their second choice are allowed to effect the change through JAMB immediately.
DIRECT ENTRY:
All direct entry candidates who made ESUT their first and second choice are also to sit for the screening test. They are therefore required to access the screening forms and other
information about the screening online as stated above and request their institutions to forward to ESUT Registrar,transcripts of their results.
Please, note that any candidate who fails to appear for the screening, automatically forfeits his/her chance of being considered for admission, while impersonators apprehended would be visited with the full weight of the law.

2017 Jamb Cut-off Mark Now 120

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board on Tuesday pegged the minimum cut-off mark for admissions into universities for the 2017/2018 academic year at 120. The decision was taken together with vice-chancellors, rectors and provosts of higher institutions in the country at a combined policy meeting on admissions into universities, polytechnics and other higher institutions in Nigeria in Abuja on Tuesday. The stakeholders also adopted 100 as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into polytechnics. They agreed that admission into first choice universities should close on October 15 while December 15, 2017 was set as the closing date for second choice admission by institutions. JAMB Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, said universities should not go below the minimum 120 cut-off point adopted by the meeting for admissions.
