Breaking News! JAMB Result Validity Period Exceeds One Year

JAMB validity window period from today goes beyond that year that students obtain their results as Nigerian senate today passes amendment act to back the bill. The Nigerian Senate just passed the amendment to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s Act #JAMBBill SB. 245 into law. In the amendment passed, the Senate strengthened the Board to allow the results of students in the annual examination be valid beyond that year. Chairman of the Senate Committee on Tertiary Education and TETFund, Senator Jibrin Barau while presenting the report of his committee on the #JAMBBill explained that the amendments will further strengthen the Admissions Board in its responsibilities Senate President Bukola Saraki, in appreciating his distinguished colleagues for their work towards the passage of the bill commented that the new amendments will indeed bring financial relief to students as well as parents and reduce bottlenecks and corruption in the admission process Source:  NTA

Problem With UNIZIK 2016 Post UTME: A Lot Of Incomplete Registration

This message just got to us and it's a matter of urgency. It seems the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Unizik, had some issues with registered candidates for her 2016 Post UTME exercise. If you have a friend or relation who applied for unizik screening between 13th to 21st September 2016 , the person should urgently go back online to the portal and check his or her name on the list of people with incomplete registration. The application is ending tomorrow! So handle this as a matter of urgency. There are over 1500 names on that list, and after tomorrow they are not eligible for admission consideration. To check if your name is on the list, follow this link http://nauportal.com:8080/unizikscreening/login?operation=loadincompleteapplication Before you say the news is not true, first check the university portal and make sure that your name is not on the list of those with incomplete registration.
