Benue State University Post Utme Date And Requirements

Benue State University BSU has
fixed the date for her
2012/2013 Post-UTME
examination which is slated to
hold 8th - 9th June, 2012.
Accordingly, candidates who
chose the Benue State University
as Most Preferred First and More
Preferred Second Choices are
advised to report to the
University for the Exercise.
Candidates that chose Benue
State University, Makurdi as their
Most Preferred First Choice and
More Preferred Second Choices
and scored 180 in their UTME are
eligible to sit for the Post UTME
screening, except for MBBS
programme where only
candidates who scored 200
points and above shall be
eligible. Note, However, that for
candidates who chose as their
Most Preferred First Choice and
More Preferred Second Choice
the MBBS programme and scored
a minimum of 180 points, but
below200 points shall be allowed
to be screened under
programmes in the Faculty of
Science where their UTME subject
combinations are applicable.
Prospective candidates are to
pay the sum of N2500 to write
the exam.
To pay for the exam, please
proceed to any of the banks
below that are located in the
state;

Using your UTME Registration
No. proceed to register Online
for the Post UTME screening
exercise at the designated
Centres on Campus from 30th
May to 7th June, 2012.
Proceed with the Online
registration Print-out and receipt
of payment to the Faculty of
your programme of choice for
documentation and signing by
the Dean of the Faculty. v.
Produce JAMB UTME Online Result
Slip with a recent passport
photograph affixed to be
submitted during the Screening
Exercise.
Candidates are advised to adhere
strictly to the schedule and their
choices of programmes at UTME.
On successfully filling the form
online, ensure you print an
acknowledgement slip which
you will be required to provide
at the exam venue.
Remember, the exam is slated to
hold 8th - 9th June, 2012 and
keep your payment receipt as
you will be required to use the
same details to check your result.

2017 Jamb Cut-off Mark Now 120

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board on Tuesday pegged the minimum cut-off mark for admissions into universities for the 2017/2018 academic year at 120. The decision was taken together with vice-chancellors, rectors and provosts of higher institutions in the country at a combined policy meeting on admissions into universities, polytechnics and other higher institutions in Nigeria in Abuja on Tuesday. The stakeholders also adopted 100 as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into polytechnics. They agreed that admission into first choice universities should close on October 15 while December 15, 2017 was set as the closing date for second choice admission by institutions. JAMB Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, said universities should not go below the minimum 120 cut-off point adopted by the meeting for admissions.
