Unn 2012/2013 Post Utme Exams Date, Forms And Requirements

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka hereby invites candidates who made her either their first or second choice in the 2012 Universities Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 200 or above for Post UTME screening exam registration. The examination is to begin on Monday, June 18, 2012 through Wednesday, June
20, 2012.
ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION
a) Eligible candidates who have
fulfilled the conditions stated above
should pay a processing fee of Two
thousand Naira (N2,000) and obtain a scratch card for online pre-registration at any branch of;
- First Bank of Nigeria Plc,
- Diamond Bank Plc, in the major cities of the Federation,
- University of Nigeria Micro-Finance Banks at Enugu and Nsukka.
b) Online Pre-registration commences on Friday, June 01, 2012 and ends on Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Those who fail to register within this period will not be
screened. With the scratch card, candidates should access and complete the University of Nigeria 2012/2013 Post-UTME screening form online by visiting the university portal at www.unn.edu.ng.
Note: Candidates must not scan any passport photograph on their forms. ENSURE YOU PRINT YOUR
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT SLIP AFTER
REGISTERING ON THE UNN PORTAL All candidates are required to bring
the following for the screening
exercise:
i. A copy of ONLINE form duly
completed;
ii. 2012/2013 Original JAMB slip. To get yours, click here;
iii. HB Pencil and Eraser.
No GSM handsets, calculators or any
other extraneous materials should be brought into the screening halls. Information on the Venues for the
screening will be made available at
the campus and on the University of
Nigeria website, a day to the
screening dates that is 17th June,
2012.

2017 Jamb Cut-off Mark Now 120

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board on Tuesday pegged the minimum cut-off mark for admissions into universities for the 2017/2018 academic year at 120. The decision was taken together with vice-chancellors, rectors and provosts of higher institutions in the country at a combined policy meeting on admissions into universities, polytechnics and other higher institutions in Nigeria in Abuja on Tuesday. The stakeholders also adopted 100 as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into polytechnics. They agreed that admission into first choice universities should close on October 15 while December 15, 2017 was set as the closing date for second choice admission by institutions. JAMB Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, said universities should not go below the minimum 120 cut-off point adopted by the meeting for admissions.
