Uniuyo 2012/2013 Post-UTME Exam Date Fixed: Registration Procedures And Requirements

This is to inform the
general public, and all 2012/2013 prospective students of the University of
Uyo that the date for the 2012/2013 UNIUYO post UTME is out.
In this year's admission
plan, the university invites only candidates
who chose
them as first choice and scored a minimum
of 180 in the 2012 UTME exams.
The registration which is already on will
give way to the examination which has
been slated to hold on
Saturday, 16th June, 2012.
Requirements for
UNIUYO 2012/2013
post UTME
Eligible candidates will pay
the sum of N2,000.00 (Two thousand naira)
only and
obtain a scratch card at
any branch of the following
Banks nationwide:
# Keystone Bank
# Zenith Bank
# Skye Bank
# United Bank for Africa
(UBA)
# First City Monument Bank
(FCMB)
# WEMA Bank
# Ecobank Plc.
# UNIUYO Microfinance
Bank.

What Happens After
the purchase of cards?
With the scratch card,
candidates should access
and complete the University
of Uyo 2012 Post-UTME
Screening form online via
the school portal at
www.uniuyopume.org and
scan on the Form, their
recent passport size
photograph with a red
background.
Requirements for
Screening
Registered candidates are
expected to come along
with the following
documents on the
examination date:-
1. Original JAMB Result Slip,
Click here to get it.
2. A copy of the University
of Uyo ON-LINE Registration
form duly completed,
carrying the passport-size
photograph
3. Two recent passport-
size photographs on red
background with the name,
UTME Registration number
and signature of the
candidate written on the
reverse side of the
photographs.
4. HB pencil, eraser and
sharpener.
Examination Venue
The Screening Exercise will
hold at the University of
Uyo, Town Campus & Town
Campus Annexe of the
University.
Registration closes 11th June, 2012.

2017 Jamb Cut-off Mark Now 120

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board on Tuesday pegged the minimum cut-off mark for admissions into universities for the 2017/2018 academic year at 120. The decision was taken together with vice-chancellors, rectors and provosts of higher institutions in the country at a combined policy meeting on admissions into universities, polytechnics and other higher institutions in Nigeria in Abuja on Tuesday. The stakeholders also adopted 100 as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into polytechnics. They agreed that admission into first choice universities should close on October 15 while December 15, 2017 was set as the closing date for second choice admission by institutions. JAMB Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, said universities should not go below the minimum 120 cut-off point adopted by the meeting for admissions.
