Ansu 2012/2013 Post Utme Exams Date: Registration Procedures And Requirements

The Anambra State University shall conduct the Post-Unified Tertiary
Matriculation Examination (P-UTME)
Screening Tests for candidates who
chose the University as their first
choice in the recently held Unified
Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint
Admissions and Matriculation Board
(JAMB). The Screening Tests shall be held at both the Uli and Igbariam Campuses of the University on Saturday 16th June, 2012. Only candidates who scored 180 and above in the UTME qualify and shall be allowed to take the Screening Tests. Other relevant details are as follows:

Method of Registration:
Candidates are required to register on-line and are to pay as follows in any branch of the underlisted banks: Screening Test fee – N1,000
Processing Fee and Bank charges - N2,000 Accessing of result - N1,200
TOTAL – N4,200.00 Recommended Banks - ECO Bank

- Zenith Bank Access Pin Code for authorized Login into the University website (www.ansu-edu.net) shall be issued to candidates following payment at any of the branches of the banks listed above. Candidates are to upload their recent passport photograph while registering on-line. Candidates shall also be enabled to check their results on the website.
NB:
i. Candidates whose photographs are not scanned on their registration form may not be allowed to take the screening tests.
ii. On-line registration for the P-UTME Screening Tests ends at midnight on Saturday 9th June, 2012.
REQUIREMENTS FOR POST UTME
SCREENING TESTS

Candidates are required to bring along their 2012 UTME result slip, three copies of scanned Post-UTME
Screening Registration Slip, passport photograph, HB pencil and eraser.
Handsets and calculators are not allowed and shall be seized from any candidate found with any such item.

2017 Jamb Cut-off Mark Now 120

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board on Tuesday pegged the minimum cut-off mark for admissions into universities for the 2017/2018 academic year at 120. The decision was taken together with vice-chancellors, rectors and provosts of higher institutions in the country at a combined policy meeting on admissions into universities, polytechnics and other higher institutions in Nigeria in Abuja on Tuesday. The stakeholders also adopted 100 as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into polytechnics. They agreed that admission into first choice universities should close on October 15 while December 15, 2017 was set as the closing date for second choice admission by institutions. JAMB Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, said universities should not go below the minimum 120 cut-off point adopted by the meeting for admissions. He called for the adoption of flexible cut-off marks for admission processes by higher institutions in the country.  He said, “What JAMB has done is to re
