JAMB Scammed Nigerians Again This Year

The Joint Admission and
Matriculation Board-JAMB is the sole body legally responsible for conducting the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination in Nigeria, hence they are supposed to be a trusted name among every Nigerian. Last year JAMB promised to provide all candidates with writing
materials, but not all students
got it. As if there is room for
improvement, Nigerians
forgave them. This year again,
they have done the worse!
Hahahaha, do you know why am laughing? Naija don corrupt finish. Oya read on.
JAMB introduced into their
syllable two different novels, by names: The Potter‘s Wheel and The Successors., parents/guardians made sure their wards got and read the books even with all the hardships in the country, fuel subsidy and others.
At last, JAMB did not ask a single question from these books yesterday, what a scam!
In Nigeria, exams are set for
students to fail. In the Western
world, they set exams for
students to pass. No good examination body would deliberately deceive its candidates in the manner that JAMB has just scammed a whole nation.
This is Nigeria . It will remain at the level of complaints and murmur. Nobody would dare cut through the ice of subservience and sue the Board for this brazen act of mischief. Honestly what happened yesterday is a national scam, JAMB as a body, is a big disappointment.

But come to think of it, what
JAMB did is not new. It is a small verse in a lengthy chapter of injustices visited on Nigerians by a system that feasts on the poor to fatten the rich. There must have been a special agreement between the authors of these books and JAMB to fatten the pockets of both parties.

Na God go judge us for this country. Don't forget to subscribe by email so as not to miss any admission update. Goodluck!

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board on Tuesday pegged the minimum cut-off mark for admissions into universities for the 2017/2018 academic year at 120. The decision was taken together with vice-chancellors, rectors and provosts of higher institutions in the country at a combined policy meeting on admissions into universities, polytechnics and other higher institutions in Nigeria in Abuja on Tuesday. The stakeholders also adopted 100 as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into polytechnics. They agreed that admission into first choice universities should close on October 15 while December 15, 2017 was set as the closing date for second choice admission by institutions. JAMB Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, said universities should not go below the minimum 120 cut-off point adopted by the meeting for admissions.
