2016 May/June Waec Result: How To Check


The West African Examinations Council, WAEC, on Friday 5th August 2016, announced the release of the 2016 May/June Results and the percentage of pass and failure was also announced and can be seen in this post 2016 May/June Waec Result Is Out.

Here is how to check:
First, you need to have a waec result checking scrach card from the country you took your waec. Example a Ghana waec result checking scratch card won't work for someone who wrote his/her waec in Nigeria.
With that said, log on to waec result checking portal at www.waecdirect.org. When the site opens, follow the steps below:

1. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number.  (This is your 7-Digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number eg. 4123456789)
2. Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year eg. 2002
3Select the Type of Examination
4. Enter the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of your Scratch card.
5. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card
6. Click Submit and wait for the results window to come up
