The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially closed registration for the 2013 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Exam.
The JAMB registration portal was finally closed on 24th March, 2013.
Statistics of Choice Institutions published by JAMB showed that the University of Benin, UNIBEN has the highest number of First Choice applicants with 98,621 candidates followed by
University of Ilorin, UNILORIN with 94,420 First Choice candidates.
The 3rd, 4th and 5th most sort-after higher institutions are Nnamdi Azikiwe University – UNIZIK (87,785 First Choice candidates), University of Lagos – UNILAG (86,363 First Choice candidates), and University of Nigeria – UNN (80,592 First Choice candidates) respectively.
