Imo Poly Warns Lecturers Against Extortion

Management of Imo State Polytechnic, Umuagwo, has warned that it will not hesitate to administer appropriate and commensurate punishment on any lecturer found to be
extorting money from
students.
The institution’s Rector, Rev. Fr. Dr. Wence Madu, who read the riot act while
interacting with students,
also warned that the Polytechnic had zero
tolerance for cultism,
examination malpractice and other anti-social activities.
“The school will not tolerate truancy from any lecturer as well as extortion of money
from students by lecturers.
Any lecturer that goes
contrary to the rules of this
institution would have
himself or herself to blame,
the rector warned.
